Netcompany shakes up recruitment

Building on its commitment towards making a difference and contributing to a fairer society, the international IT services business Netcompany (www.netcompany.com) will be recruiting as many as 30 new Leeds-based technology delivery staff at the Leeds Digital Careers Festival on 15 September 2022.

The initiative to streamline its traditional recruitment process is being driven Netcompany’s headline sponsorship of the Festival, and will be made possible by carefully coordinating back-office processes without lowering the company’s robust recruitment standards.  Netcompany sees this as a new and innovative way of enabling candidates of all backgrounds and levels of experience to join the Company.

“This initiative highlights our commitment towards Leeds and its growing pedigree of innovation, business, investment and skills,” says Richard Davies, UK Country Manager, Netcompany.  “We are committed to bringing new ideas to the local digital jobs market, creating rewarding opportunities for technologists of all backgrounds to join us and build exciting careers in IT delivery.  I can’t wait to welcome these new Leeds-based colleagues to our Netcompany family.”

“The responses from organizations wanting to be part of the Leeds Digital Careers Festival as a sponsor were overwhelming, and it is clear that organizations such as Netcompany have a genuine passion for making a difference, either through their digital solutions or social value work which contributes to society and the digital talent pool across Leeds,” comments Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s executive member for economy, culture and education.  “We are grateful for the support demonstrated by Netcompany not only as a headline sponsor, but also through the community outreach and school engagement activity they are supporting across the festival.  We are very excited to have Netcompany as part of the event and appreciate working with like-minded organisations who want to help increase opportunities for everyone.”

“We’ve made the process as straightforward as possible,” comments Deepa Nair, Head of Talent, Netcompany.  “Candidates can simply show up at the Netcompany stand at Leeds Digital Careers Festival with an updated copy of their CV, or an updated LinkedIn profile.  Our talent team will pre-screen candidates to roles, and their eligibility to work in the UK.  Candidates who meet our qualification criteria will be taken to a private interview room to meet with a hiring manager, and hopefully leave an hour or two later with a job offer in hand.”
